The newest of jazz singers to hit the Buffalo scene, Dr. M has been described as a mid-mod jazz chanteuse. She brings a lively, yet sultry delivery to her music, which includes jazz standards as well as jazzed-out newer tunes. Dr. M's influences include Sarah Vaughan, Carmen McRae, Dianne Reeves, Dinah Washington, Eartha Kit, Katherine Russell, Kandace Springs, and Diana Krall to name a few. Dr. M selects top musicians in the area to round out the Dr. M Jazz Combo.
